It's a particularly rainy day on the Distant Planet. The Pikmin do all that they can to keep their captain dry. It's what friends do, after all.
Olimar and the Pikmin have grown on me. I remember wanting the game as a kid but I never did get it. Oh well, I'm able to enjoy them through SSBB. They've become a part of my main group. This picture was inspired by "Ai no Uta" (Song of Love). I recently downloaded it and looked up the lyrics. They're kinda sad... I know the song talks about how Olimar is probably indifferent toward the Pikmin, but I can't help but think otherwise. I'm sure he's very thankful for all of their help and care. I was debating whether to color the original line art but I decided to just use hatching instead to shade it and leave it at that. It's some of my most decent hatching work... I usually suck at it. Ahhhh... Pikmin. <3 |

Naw, I don't think its on the VC. I bet you can get it for really cheap for GCN nowadays, though.
I hear that Shigeru Miyamoto is willing to make a Pikmin 3 for the Wii though. Nothing has been confirmed, however.
